In a strategic move to elevate the mobile gaming landscape, Infinix has been named the official gaming smartphone partner for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Malaysia in 2025, marking a significant milestone in the country’s competitive gaming ecosystem.
The partnership, which covers MPL Malaysia Season 15 and Season 16, positions the Infinix GT 20 Pro as the tournament’s official gaming smartphone. Designed specifically for high-performance gaming, the device features dual-chip technology, an ultra-responsive display with high refresh rates, and an advanced cooling system, all wrapped in a sleek cyber mecha design.

Wai Kiat Hong, Marketing Director of Infinix Malaysia, emphasized the significance of the collaboration, stating, “Our partnership with MOONTON Games is a huge step in our goal to shape the future of esports in Malaysia, bringing innovation to mobile gaming and ensuring players have access to the best gaming technology.”
The partnership extends beyond the tournament, with Infinix also supporting Ocean Black, a rising esports team formerly known as Miracle Gaming. Bidin Al-Zaifa, the team’s co-founder, highlighted the importance of technological support in competitive gaming.
Siew Hao Zhen from MOONTON Games expressed excitement about the collaboration, noting that the partnership aligns with MPL Malaysia’s commitment to fostering innovation and excellence in mobile gaming.

This isn’t Infinix’s first foray into the Malaysian esports scene. The company has maintained a two-year partnership with Homebois, initiated during the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Academy League Malaysia in 2024, demonstrating a consistent commitment to developing the local esports ecosystem.
Fans can look forward to Infinix unveiling its next-generation gaming smartphone for MPL MY Season 16, promising further advancements in mobile gaming technology.
