Bandai has announced the Imperialdramon Paladin Mode figure for their Figure Rise Standard Amplified line up of model kits, bringing with it the release of the lesser-known form for Digimon’s star fusion.
This figure appears to be a retool of the previously released Imperialdramon figure , considering there’s no form-level difference between Imperialdramon Fighter Mode and and Paladin Mode outside of the wings, which sport more angelic looking wings.. The main difference is the sword, made from Omegamon.
It’s part of the P-Bandai line, Bandai’s line of premium model kits. The kit was only announced to be in production, and has no release date or price as of yet.
Figure Rise Standard Amplified is Bandai’s line of Digimon figures, featuring updated redesigns that translate better to model kits. these include more detailed panel lines, giving the designs a more mechanical feel with the scribed lines. Other figures released in that line include Dukemon, Wargreymon and MetalGarurumon.
Paladin Mode is the new form for Imperialdramon which featured in the Digimon 02 movie Revenge of Diaboromon. It’s made by combining Omegamon’s power and Imperialdramon Fighter Mode.
This joins a huge deluge of Digimon merchandise news, with the Figure Rise Standard Amplified Beelzemon and Figure Rise Standard Magnamon kit.
