After much deliberation aNCHOR has finally given a firm release date for Immortals: Muv-Luv Alternative, its upcoming action RPG for the Android and iOS platforms. The game is tentatively scheduled for a launch on 17 March 2022, following several delays.
As previously reported, Project Immortal first made its debut as a fan project presented at the franchise’s “Still Breathing” 20th-anniversary event. The reveal garnered a lot of support from the fans, and it was soon decided by the higher ups that it should be a full-fledged release on the mobile. To get the uninitiated up to speed with the overall plot, humans now fight against the “BETA”, hostile extraterrestrial beings that seek our extinction. To combat this threat, humanity have placed their hope in weapons known as Tactical Surface Fighters. You assume the role of an unknown mercenary hired by a private military contractor to battle against the BETA. More of the lore is not detailed and will be disclosed in full once the game goes live.
