The Grand Finals of CS2 Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Sydney 2023 between FaZe Clan and Complexity Gaming has decided on a winner.
In a best-of-three series, FaZe Clan has secured the victory by beating Complexity Gaming 2-1, and was crowned the first ever Counter-Strike 2 champions.
From the $250,000 USD IEM Sydney 2023 prize pool, FaZe Clan are bringing home $100,000 USD and a direct entry to IEM Katowice 2024, while Complexity Gaming walks home with $42,000 USD for second place.
The matches were close, being pushed to a third map and two overtimes in the decider, as both rosters have showcased incredible performances at the event and have absolutely earned their spot in the tournament’s Grand Finals.

Counter-Strike 2 multiplayer tactical first-person shooter game developed and published by Valve, with IEM Sydney 2023 being the first major tournament for the game.
