Japan-based developer QualiArts has just announced that it will be launching its idol management RPG Idoly Pride for the Android and iOS platforms on 24 June 2021. Furthermore, the first episode of the Idoly Pride TV anime will is also be made available on the official YouTube channel for a limited time until 7 July 2021.
In the game, you take on the role of manager for these idols, organizing everything from their fan meet events, TV appearances and of course, their live performances. You’ll be able to form deep bonds with your idols, with them being able to send messages or even call you about their concerns, apparently including outside of the game. It promises 3D live performances in the game, so pretty much virtual 3D MVs as some recent games – Project Sekai for example – have adopted.
With how new the project is, we’ll have to see how far this will go. The official website for the game does not mention anything about a release date, but at the very least we can assume it’s a rhythm game. If the project piques your interest, be sure to check out their official Twitter as well. Also, as pre-registration for the game has hit the 400, 000 mark, all users will be rewarded with 10x gacha tickets and gacha ticket for the highest rarity character.
