Icarus M is a game developed by Wemade and they had recently requested Netmarble, their publisher, to cancel their contract to publish the game. Netmarble which attained the global publishing rights for Icarus M since January 2017, has been providing Wemade with consultation and advice during development. Thus Netmarble is finding it hard since they have been working together for more than a year.
The mobile MMORPG made with Unreal Engine 4 has been touted to provide players with amazing PC standard graphics and gameplay on mobile. However since Netmarble had confirmed of Wemade’s request to cancel the publishing contract for Icarus M, both companies will be having a meeting to further discuss the situation before hopping onto any conclusions.
Hopefully Netmarble will be able to retain the contract for the global publishing rights of Icarus M or we may never see an English version of the game.
