Japan-based game developer Liber Entertainment has just announced that its upcoming game I★CHU Étoile Stage is scheduled for a launch on 30 April 2020 for the Android and iOS platforms.
The idol breeder is based on the I★CHU franchise and features character designs from famed illustrator Yutaka. Players take on the role of a producer in charge of an all-male troupe of performers, whom you must train to become top idols. There will be individual stories for each character, accompanied by a backstory describing how the groups are formed. Everyone here is voiced, which is pretty much a necessity for such games, so rest assured.
As with all other games of this genre, you will be tasked with nurturing the characters with different lessons, such as vocal lessons, dance lessons and physical training. One you feel you are properly prepped, you can then field your group to live performances to win over as many fans as possible. There are also the inclusion of side jobs such as photoshoots. Once in a while, your idols will go to you for advice, and you will need to do your best here in order to keep their moods up at all times. For your efforts, you will be rewarded accordingly.
