After the end of the game’s open beta, Hyper Scape launches today, 11 August 2020. Exact times given are:
- Asia and Oceania: 11PM AEST, 11 August
- Europe and Middle East: 3PM CEST, 11 August
- The Americas: 6AM PST / 9AM EST, 11 August
Cross-play will be coming at a later date, but in the mean time, cross progression will be available when Hyper Scape launches for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. All XP earned and items will be kept so long you play on the same account across platforms.
As for expected download sizes, it’ll be:
- PC: ~8.5 GB
- Xbox One: ~8.5 GB
- PS4: ~11.5 GB
Season 1 will also be kicking off with the launch, which will include a brand new mid-range weapon, the Dragonfly, and a new hack, Magnet, to trap unsuspecting contenders out of a total of 11 guns and 11 hacks. Besides Solo and Squad Crown Rush, additional limited time game modes are planned.
The Season will kick off the overarching narrative, with players needing to solve a mystery of Prisma Dimensions. Collect Memory Shards to learn more about characters and events with a new shard hidden each week in the world. Comics will also be released throughout the Seasons to build on the story.
There will also be Crowncast extension support for players to earn Bitcrowns and points towards their Battle Pass. Details here.
