At first if you don’t succeed, try again. Or so goes the old saying. Following a failed launch, Hunter x Hunter: Greed Adventure has just been re-released by Bandai Namco.
Scheduled for a launch on 5 December 2018, the game was taken off stores due to some server hiccup. The game is now in its proper playable form and can be downloaded on Google Play or the App Store in Japan.
To recap, the game takes place after the Greed Island Arc in the manga and anime. Following the completion of the arc, Hunter x Hunter: Greed Adventure will follow its own original story. In this game, Greed Island has evolved into Greed Island 2 under the influence of the Hunter Association. Although the story has been changed to suit the game, fans can enjoy flashback scenes from the anime.
The gameplay focuses on simple 1-tap controls for movement and skill activation. Furthermore, players can boost their characters by equipping Skill Cards on them. Each card provides unique boosts and moves for the characters. In addition, players can limit break their characters by feeding duplicates of the target.
To apologise for the delayed release, Bandai Namco has provided a bunch of gems for players to gacha with. If you have been waiting for this, the wait is finally over.
