Hunt Begins: August Events Unveiled for Monster Hunter Now

Hunters, August has just started but Monster Hunter Now has a series of events that will surely keep you on your toes! The August Events Lineup has been revealed and coming in hot is the flame emperor himself, Teostra!

Monster Hunter Now was released in on Android and iOS on September 14, 2023. It is a free-to-play augmented reality mobile game in the Monster Hunter series. Without further ado, let’s jump right into the list of events coming this month.

Starting from the top left, the MrBeast collaboration is now live and will be held until September 3, 2024. The collaboration introduces a set of quests set by MrBeast himself and will offer you tons of one-of-a-kind rewards. Follow his instructions to get the chance to forge a special MrBeast Sword & Shield. Once his quests are completed, you can start earning other rewards such as the MrBeast Layered Armor (inspired by real-life MrBeast merch), a new Guild card background, MrBeast face paint, and most importantly the MrBeast Hunter Medal.

Moving on to the Driftsmelting Bonanza. During this limited event, there will be increased appearances of Azure Rathalos in forest habitats and Black Diablos in desert habitats. They will only drop the Mysterious Driftstone A. You still have 3 more days to farm the 2 elusive monsters as the event will end on August 4, 2024.

Next up, the Water Element Quests. In preparation for the second elder dragon, Teostra coming in, this event is designed to help hunters upgrade their water-element weapons. This event will go live on August 5, 2024 and will last until August 11, 2024. The featured monsters on the banner are Mizutsune, Coral Pukei-Pukei, Jyuratodus and Great Jagras. Rewards will include:

• Gatherable materials including Earth Crystals
• Monster materials including a Wyvern Gem Shard and Mizutsune Plate
• Zenny
• Season Tier Points

Starting from August 12, Even Happier Hunting! will net you extra rewards when joining group hunts. This event will end on August 18, 2024. Now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for, Teostra! The flame emperor will be joining the elder dragon roster on August 16 and will be blazing through until August  25, 2024.

Lastly, the Dreamsmelting Bonanza will make it return towards the end of the month from August 19, 2024 to August 25, 2024.
