Hundred Soul is a game developed by a new Korean mobile game company, Hound 13. Hound 13 was founded in 2014 by a co-founder of Eyedentity Games and has been working on Project 100 which gave birth to Hundred Soul. Hundred Soul is developed with a team of 45 people who are veterans that worked on Dragon Nest, Dungeon Strikers, Rusty Hearts and many others. This is also the reason why there are certain familiar sound effects that you may realize in the gameplay teaser trailer.
Project 100 a.k.a Hundred Sould teaser trailer:
The game is developed using Unity Engine and was first revealed in an Los Angeles Unity event for showcasing last year. With Unity Engine, the game obviously looks amazing as the graphics are crisp and movements are seen fluid in the trailer. The game is comparable to other games that uses Unreal Engine 4, which apparently was said to look somewhat similar to TERA. Check out the gameplay video below to see the similarities!
The game was set to be launched in Korea first and just recently, Hound 13 announced that they have signed a contract with LINE to publish the game, Hundred Soul, in 13 different countries. It was mentioned that LINE had invested in Hound 13 as well. With a beautifully crafted game using Unity engine, the RPG game revolves around taking down bosses with hundreds of craftable equipment.
