SEGA and Amplitude Studios have announced that the release for Humankind on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S has been delayed.
The game was initially to be released on console platform this November 4th but they have been delayed until further notice has been given by the company.
Any digital purchases made will be refunded where applicable in line with the platform policy.
Their statement regarding the delay reads as follow:
“We apologise for the inconvenience, but rest assured that SEGA, Amplitude Studios and Aspyr are working hard to bring the best possible HUMANKIND experience to console players. We can’t give a timeframe on a new release date right now, but as soon as we are in a position to do so, we will let everyone know and we thank the community for their continued support and understanding.
In the meantime, everyone at Amplitude Studios is working hard on HUMANKIND’s first major expansion pack on PC, Together We Rule, which will release on November 10th.”
Humankind is a turn-based strategy game by Amplitude Studios and published by SEGA and is currently available on PC for Windows and Mac.
Their first major expansion, Together We Rule is set to be released on PC on November 9th together with the free major update Metternich.
