HUAWEI Mate 20 X is the latest flagship for the well-known HUAWEI Mate series. With a massive 7.2-inch display, the new smartphone is said to be designed for gaming purpose. We are lucky to try it out, and we do agree on that. Check out our HUAWEI Mate 20 X review below to know more about the device!
Here is our unboxing video:
The Design and Display
The HUAWEI Mate 20 X comes in two colour – Midnight Blue or Phantom Silver, the model we get is in Phantom Silver. On the back, we got an engraved glass panel that shows a unique texture glittering in the light along with the “matrix camera lens”.
With a body size of 174.6mm x 85.4mm, Mate 20 X is a pretty large smartphone compared to the normal ones (but much smaller compared to a tablet). It is quite heavy too at about 232g, but from our experience, its body is non-slippery and comfortable for one-handed operation.
The expansive 7.2-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2244×1080 is undoubtedly the biggest selling point of Mate 20 X. The bezels are narrow, while the waterdrop notch design allows a larger screen ratio. Although the display might sound too big for a smartphone, it does offers a super immersive experience for both gaming and entertainment.
