It has been 2 weeks since BlizzCon 2023, as well as the launch of Warcraft Rumble, Blizzard’s latest mobile strategy title, but how much revenue has it generated?
According to the data from the mobile game analyst website AppMagic, Warcraft Rumble has generated a total of $9,147,055 USD in revenue and garnered 3,014,416 downloads since its release on the 3rd of November, 2023.
As a comparison, Blizzard’s previous mobile release, Diablo Immortal generated $21,197,753 USD in its first two weeks of launch, beginning on 2 June 2022.
That is $12,050,698 USD more revenue made than Warcraft Rumble in its first 2 weeks.
However, both titles are fairly different in terms of genre, gameplay, and target audience, as Warcraft Rumble is an action strategy while Diablo Immortal is a dungeon crawler action RPG.
For a closer comparison, we look at Warcraft Rumble’s direct competitor, Clash Royale by developer Supercell, a game with a fairly similar gameplay premise.
In its first 2 weeks of release since 2 March 2016, Clash Royale has netted $51,514,619 USD in revenue and had 32,776,197 total downloads across the world.
There is a $42,367,564 difference in revenue when both Warcraft Rumble and Clash Royale are compared side by side, with the Supercell’s title taking the lead by a long mile.
Released on the 3rd of November, 2023, Warcraft Rumble is now available for Android and iOS devices, featuring strategic gameplay where players have to play and deploy troops to take down the opposing faction with a variety of unique Minis based on beloved Warcraft units.
