Horizon Forbidden West is up for Pre-Order and Collectors Editions have been Revealed

Horizon Forbidden West is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles on February 18th, 2022. You can now pre-order the game on the PlayStation Network Store.

Sony has also released a new trailer to help you prepare for Aloy’s new journey.

Horizon Forbidden West continues six months after the events of Horizon Zero Dawn. Aloy, a machine hunter, has travelled west to investigate a mysterious and deadly blight. In these uncharted lands, she will meet strange new tribes and encounter ever more deadly machines. Together with old friends and new companions, she must brave this new frontier to find the answers she needs to save life on Earth.

The game will also arrive with some collector’s editions, both digital and physical. Each one of these editions of Horizon Forbidden West is also available for pre-order.

This is the Horizon Forbidden West Digital Deluxe Edition. It will be available exclusively for the Playstation Store. It is cross-gen meaning you can download it on either PS4 or PS5.

In addition to the game, you’ll receive the following content:

For the physical edition, we first have the Horizon Forbidden West Physical Edition. This will give you a gorgeous steel book cover for the game and a mini art book. Pre-ordering any version of the game will also net you a Nora Legacy Outfit and Spear that you can use in the game. 

Next, we have the collectors edition which is once again a digital release but with a lot of extra goodies. Here’s what you’ll get:

Horizon Forbidden West will release for PS4 and PS5 on February 18th, 2022. As with most first-party Sony titles, you’ll be able to transfer save data between PS4 and PS5 if you end up upgrading consoles.
