The highly anticipated title, which has evolved significantly since its initial reveal nearly four years ago, appears to have shifted from its original game design to a different experience. The work-in-progress gameplay footage showcased in the trailer highlights cooperative play elements and introduces several new enemy types.
While still lacking a specific release date, the developers have confirmed the game will be available on PC and mobile platforms. TiMi Studio Group has also arranged a behind-closed-doors playtest session exclusively for registered media members attending GDC.
The newly launched official website provides details about various locations within the game world of Jixia, including the Tower of Enlightenment in Jixia Academy, Springbrook Plains with its ancient ruins and wetlands, mountain regions, Dragon Valley (named after the remains of a massive dragon), and Caelumpila Ruinsaa, described as a former soldier enhancement facility harboring mysterious secrets.

This appearance at GDC 2025 marks the first major reveal for Honor of Kings: World in some time, though it remains unclear how close the game is to an actual release date.
