Honor of Kings: World recent gameplay trailer showcases its colorful combat which includes the usage of a variety of elemental spells.
The trailer also showcased the player taking on multiple types of creatures which could be reasonably assumed to be boss fights in the game.
The gameplay trailer also showed some clips on the exploration side of things which included underwater swimming as well as gliding through the air to get around faster similar to games within the genre such as Genshin Impact.
What’s most interesting however is that the gameplay clip also showcases what looks like a futuristic hover suit complete with projectile based weaponry. The player could be seen dodging attacks by dashing with the suit and even take to the skies and churn out attacks. The suit could also be seen unloading a salvo of rockets alongside the twin cannons while firing.
While suits that shoot rockets are nothing new in video games, it is however quite unique as the setting of the game clearly shows a more traditional time period.
Honor of Kings: World is a new, upcoming open-world action RPG developed by Tencent’s TiMi Studio Group as is based off the world in the moba game Honor of Kings.
