Honor of Kings Invitational Midseason 2024 at Esports World Cup

The Honor of Kings Invitational Midseason 2024, is scheduled to take place in Riyadh from August 1 to 4, 2024, as part of the Esports World Cup. The event will feature 12 professional esports teams competing for a substantial prize pool of USD 3,000,000.

The tournament will employ a single round-robin format, with teams divided into two groups of six. Group stage matches will be best-of-one, determining the standings within each group.

Subsequently, the top four teams from each group will advance to the knockout stages, beginning with quarterfinals on August 3 featuring best-of-three matches. The semifinals and finals will then escalate to best-of-five matches.

Notably, Malaysia will be represented in three teams: Team Secret, Weibo Gaming, and LGD Gaming. To commemorate the event, Honor of Kings has released an exclusive Esports World Cup skin called ‘Heavenblade’ for the hero Allain. Furthermore, Grammy-nominated Mighty Mike has produced a new theme song titled “Invincible,” which Grammy-winning Tom Norris has mixed.

Fans can follow the action through live streams on various platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, TikTok, and Honor of Kings’ in-game TV. Additionally, the tournament offers engagement opportunities for players, with an in-game event running from July 26 to August 4.

During this period, players can earn event currency by logging in, playing, or spectating matches. They can then use this currency to participate in activities for exclusive rewards.
