Mobile MOBA juggernaut Honor of Kings is about to become more chaotic with an upcoming 10v10 mode, albeit for the China version as of writing.
As announced, Honor of Kings players in China is about to drop into a chaotic brawl in a 10v10 mode on May 30, 2024.
To achieve this, a new map is introduced, splitting the lanes into 4 rather than the traditional 3-lane setup to accommodate 20 heroes on the battlefield.
This game mode also has a drop-in, drop-out feature where players can join or exit the match as they please, at any time. Yes, you could even join a match that is already midway through.
Clearly, this is not meant to be a fully competitive mode, thus it will also have a separate rank division and point system.
Regardless if you win or lose, as long as your performance is good in the match, you can still get points.
As mentioned, this is going to be released for the China version of Honor of Kings. I mean, obviously, since the Global version has not been released yet.
It is still very interesting to see what chaos may play out in a match where balance is thrown out the window in favor of stupid fun.
Hopefully, when the Global version of Honor of Kings releases next month, players would not need to wait long for 10v10 to be included.
