During today’s State of Play livestream, Hoyoverse has just announced the release date for the PlayStation 5 version of Honkai Star Rail, which is set to launch on 11th October 2023.
The announcement of the PlayStation 5 version for Honkai Star Rail was initially revealed about six months ago during a Hoyoverse special program.
From the trailer, as narrated by everyone’s favourite Stellaron Hunter, we even got to see new characters that have yet to be in the game, such as Lynx in the newly enhanced Simulated Universe: Swarm Disaster.
Interesting enough, there was still no mention about the game being available on the PlayStation 4, which would imply that it will only be out on the latest gen consoles.
Additionally, an exclusive time-limited pre-order bundle will be available via the PlayStation Store to aid players on their journey.

Honkai Star Rail is a space fantasy RPG title with a journey through various worlds of the unknown, taking on the role of “Trailblazer” to unravel the mysterious surrounding the fabled “Cancer of All Worlds” and Aeons.
The game features turn-based combat as well as fantasy elements with myths and legends into a space sci-fi story.
