It looks like Honkai Star Rail is getting a PC release, following in the footsteps of fellow miHoYo title Genshin Impact.
While the PC version will be open for the game’s beta, it’s not confirmed that it would launch alongside the game, or if it would be added later similar to Honkai Impact 3rd.
As beta-signups opened today for miHoYo’s Honkai Impact spin-off, they announced the platforms that it would be available on, including a previously-unannounced PC version.
Here’s the minimum PC specs for running the Honkai Star Rail beta:
Windows 7 or later with Intel® Core™ i5 Processor, 8GB of RAM, discrete graphics card, and Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or better
Meanwhile, they’d also announced the minimum mobile specs for the game, though only for iOS devices:
- iOS 12 or later
- iPhone: iPhone XS, iPhone XR, or better
- iPad: iPad with Apple A12 processor or better
- ※ October 2018 model or later
During the survey however, there was a severe lack of Android options when selecting your platforms, which means there’s a good chance the beta might be iOS only.
Familiar Faces Return in Honkai Star Rail
In addition, they’ve also officially revealed several characters from the game, including some familiar faces:
The website has also confirmed previously-leaked information about the game, such as its format- unlike the action oriented Honkai Impact 3rd and Genshin Impact, Star Rail will be a turn-based RPG, where you’ll build a party to fight the game’s enemies.
This liness up with miHoYo’s recent new short, which confirmed that Honkai Star Rail would be set some years in the future after the events of Honkai Impact 3rd, alongside A Post-Honkai Oddyssey.
