miHoYo has announced the beta date for Honkai Star Rail , where fans will be able to try out the next title set in the Honkai Impact 3rd universe.
According to their HoyoLab blog post, the beta will start from 27th of October, and players who applied for the Honkai Star Rail beta will be able to access it from PC or iOS devices.
It looks like fan concerns from the previous news drop have come to light, with the closed beta not offering Android Support. This probably isn’t anything to do with the game’s launch, but more likely to do with how many different beta clients they want active for the test.
Considering how most games will have a closed beta for Android only, it’s an interesting turn of events that this time it would only be open to iOS and PC users.

Like many mobile game betas, the beta won’t save your progress and will be wiped from the server after it ends. There’s been no mention of how long the beta will run for however, so expect that information when the selected participants are notified of their entry into the program.
Honkai Star Rail is a turn-based RPG set after the events of A Post Honkai Odyssey, a spinoff taking place years after the events of Honkai Impact 3rd.
