Honkai Impact 3rd is coming to Steam, letting you download the game from the Steam storefront instead of just from miHoYo’s website, albeit with some changes.
The biggest change is that the game will reportedly not support cross-play, and that it will follow the content of the worldwide version rather than the SEA version.
“Legends say… unlock Honkai Impact 3rd on Steam and you will get a mystery present! Try it out, Captains! *The steam account of this game does not support cross-play“, their official tweet reads.
According to the Steam Page, the client will be available some time this month, but no specific date has been given yet.
This isn’t exactly the PC debut of Honkai Impact 3rd , since the game had been previously available to download from the game’s website, even sporting controller support.
It’s not known if this will include any updates to the PC versions’ UI- currently, the PC build for Honkai Impact is pretty much a 1:1 of the mobile version when it comes to navigating menus, with no options to change settings and having to use your stick like a mouse cursor if you were playing on controller.
It’s also interesting that Honkai Impact 3rd would come to Steam , considering miHoYo’s other title, Genshin Impact, is an Epic Games Store exclusive.

Do note that the storage space is likely a typo, and it should be assumed that the game doesn’t magically shrink in file size on reccommended settings.
