UPDATE 22:09, 27 OCTOBER 2021: While we reported on the Honkai cafe reservations being sold out, we have received clarification from BurgerLab that it was a system glitch. Original article follows after the quote:
We noticed a system bug shortly after the ordering site went live and paused it for a quick fix to ensure the user experience wasn’t effected too much. The fix took about 30 minutes and is now ready to accept orders again. On behalf of the myBurgerLab team, we’re truly sorry for any inconvenience caused to all miHoYo fam!
As previously announced, various countries within the SEA region will be having Hoyo Fest 2021 themed cafes, Honkai Impact 3rd being the first themed cafe session fans can book for. Reservations are opened in phases for the respective games, and will remain so until sold out.
As it were, the Honkai reservations officially opened at 17:00 GMT +8 for Malaysians, and all the slots for the cafe sold out in roughly 30 minutes. The official rules for myBurgerLab Cheras, which is hosting all three of the themed cafes, state that individuals cannot enter without a dine-in reservation. Even if you wanted self-pick up or delivery, only orders made during the reservation period will be served. This probably does not bode well for people who wanted to try out to get in for the other games; Tears of Themis reservations open 9 November, while Genshin Impact begin 23 November.
The fans who were lucky enough to grab their reservations this time for the Honkai cafe before they sold out still have various stipulations they’ll need to observe, as listed on the myBurgerLab Facebook page. This leg will run from 5 to 16 November.
In any case, if you want to attend the other sessions, be sure to get ready with your phone as early as possible for the best possible chance to secure your booking.
