Honkai Impact 3rd 6.1 Update Introduces Li Shusheng And More

Hoyoverse has announced the release date for the Honkai Impact 3rd 6.1 update, which sees the usual fair of new events as well as a new battlesuit joining the game.

Honkai Impact 3rd version 6.1 will launch on October 27th, bringing Li Shusheng as well as a tie-in event, Midnight Chronicle to learn more about her.

Midnight Chronicle is a two-part event, featuring co-op objectives and rotating maps  for different types of goals: Speedrunning, Survival, and Scoring.

You won’t need to be a Shusheng fanboy to enjoy the event though, since taking part in the event will also get you the new Scorching Gravel skin for Infinite Ouroboros.

Meanwhile, 6.1 will also allow you to pull for Shusheng herself- here’s the description of the powerful new battlesuit courtesy of Hoyoverse:

As an S-rank PSY-type dealing Ice DMG, Li Sushang wields a blade for melee attacks and generates flying swords for ranged attacks. When in battlefield, she can stand firmly on her sword while using her agility to blink throughout the Sword Array. She can also constantly summon flying swords to strike enemies and trap them in the array, doing it all with grace and agility. Her Ultimate, Blade Eminence, summons a colossal sword from above to dominate the field with crushing momentum! During the skill cast, all skill and stage timers are paused. Ice DMG dealers on the team receive additional buffs, and enemies are subject to devastating damage.

Finally, this update will also introduce Story Chapter XXXII, which begins the final arc for the Honkai Impact 3rd’s The Moon’s Origin and Finality story arc, as well as the reunion of Mei and Kiana.

The event will also run concurrently with the previously-announced anniversary for the SEA version of the game, featuring rewards like free Battlesuits.
