It’s been announced that a line of Hololive Tsukumo plushies will be available for purchase, featuring six of the talents of Vtuber company Hololive.
The plushies will cost 4,380 Yen (RM 194.11) and stand at approximately 250mm tall. They’ll include metal rings so you can attach them to your backpack.
The Hololive Tsukumo Plushies will be available for purchase via the Tsukumo webstores, with the Tsukumo 99 webstore for those living outside of Japan. They’ll be available from 28th January, with only two of the plushies being available from different dates.
The plushies release schedule is as follows:
Tokino Sora and Uruha Rushia (January 28th)
Shiranui Flare and Usada Pekora (February 4th)
Shirogane Noel and Houshou Marine (February 24th)
The plushies are limited to two per customer, and it’s unclear if past plushies will be available after the start of the next one’s sale.
These plushies are based on the illustrations of illustrator Muuran, whose art is visible in the promotional art for the sales as well.
Vtubers have generally infiltrated the pop culture sphere in Japan, being available via various merchandise that you can purchase. Most recently, the english branch of Hololive even had a special collaboration to promote the English release of Princess Connect Re:Dive.
These plushies are limited in stock, and Tsukumo has warned that the stock will likely sell out even though they’ve installed a per-customer limit.
