Hololive ID’s Kureiji Ollie is Coming To Animangaki 2021

Animangaki Online 2021, the online version of one of Malaysia’s premier anime conventions has announced that Kureiji Ollie from Hololive ID will be joining their lineup of guests.

The event, which runs from 6th to 22nd August, has been slowly announcing its lineup of guests such as comics artist Lipwei, and cosplayer Vivid Vision.

Kureiji Ollie isn’t even the first Vtuber to be guesting at the event, with local Vtuber Lilliana Vampaia being one of the first announced guests for Animangaki Online 2021.

Since they haven’t announced the event schedule yet, we won’t know the exact of Kureiji Ollie’s participation in the event just yet. However we can expect to see more announcements closer to the date.

Kureiji Ollie is part of the second generation of Hololive ID, Hololive’s Indonesian offshoot. She debuted alongside fellow talents Anya Melfissa as well as Pavolia Rene.

With the Covid-19 pandemic showing no sign of ending any time soon, Vtubers are becoming more and more prominent as guests since they don’t have to show up in person. Just this month Hololive EN held a panel at Anime Expo Lite, where they announced a host of new merchandise featuring the talents including Pop Up Parade figures as well as a nendoroid for Gawr Gura.

Animangaki is no stranger to getting high-profile guests- during the last in-person event in 2019, the event had a panel hosted by Yoko Taro and Takahisa Taura where the two discussed the NieR series for Malaysian fans.
