Hogwarts Legacy has announced that the release date for the game on last generation consoles and Nintendo Switch has been delayed.
The game will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on April 4th, 2023 while on July 25th, 2023 for Nintendo Switch.
There is no official statement for the delay besides them saying the following:
“The team is looking forward to bringing you the game and they want to deliver the best possible game experience across all platforms.”

The PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC are unaffected by these changes and will be released on February 10th, 2023 as planned. There will also be a 72 hours early access for the game beginning on February 7th, 2023.
Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world action RPG set in the Wizarding World universe, based on the Harry Potter series. You will be playing as a student studying in Hogwarts in the 1800s who also happens to hold the key to an ancient secret. The choices you make throughout your journey will ultimately decide the fate of the wizarding world.
