If you are a fan of the Warhammer franchise, you will be pleased to know that game developers HexWar is launching The Horus Heresy: Battle of Tallarn. This strategy title has you taking part in the biggest tank battles in Imperial history, which should mean something of significance given that this is Warhammer 40K we are talking about.
The game takes place following a a virus bombing by the Iron Warriors which made Tallarn into a wasteland unfit for habitation. As counterattack, you will resort to mechanised units to take out the invading forces.

Battles take place turn-based, where you will have access to 50 units and a plethora of weapons at your disposal. Playing as either Imperial of Traitor forces, you will engage in a total of three campaigns with six missions each. You will be able to customise your army to your liking as you mull over the best way to take on the missions. The game is due to be released on Steam and iOS on 8 February 2017.
