Square Enix’s latest RPG Triangle Strategy has been released for Nintendo Switch and as many players navigate their way through the game, they may wonder what will be carried over as new game plus for their second playthrough.
Upon completing the main game of Triangle Strategy, the player will be greeted with the following screen which will tell them more about the new game plus features of the game.
As you can see, all our your units, information, and notes will carry over to the new game however the game will add some extra challenges in order to balance this out with tougher enemies and harder mental mock battles that you can access at the tavern.
There will also be a few quality-of-life features surrounding your conviction value. Conviction values are the invisible stats of morality, utility, and liberty that will influence certain actions that happen within the game including plot points and your persuasiveness during the voting scenes. In the new game plus, however, they are a lot less invisible.
You will be able to view your current conviction values and how they will change based on the dialogue options you pick.
After chapter 5 on post-game, you will have access to the Scout feature. This will allow you to view your current conviction values as well as learn about allies you haven’t recruited yet and what convictions you’ll need to get them.
The game also tells you what you can do to bolster each of your three conviction values. This should make it easier to determine what path and route you would like to take on your next playthrough.
