Released exclusively for the PS3 in 2010, Heavy Rain is an action-adventure game which features four protagonists that unravel the mystery of the serial murderer known as the Origami Killer and your main task is to prevent him from taking more lives. Other main characters can be killed and what you choose to do will eventually affect the outcome of the game.
Also released exclusively for the PS3 but in 2013, Beyond: Two Souls is also an action-adventure game that features Jodie Holmes. Since birth, Jodie has been linked to a separate soul known as Aiden which grants her supernatural powers. As Jodie grew up, she steadily learned how to control the powers she shares with Aiden. In Beyond: Two Souls, players get to experience Jodie’s life journey as she seeks to find out who she really is.
Launched on PS4 on May 25 last year, Detroit: Become Human is another action-adventure game where it’s set in the near-future metropolis of Detroit in the year 2038. In Detroit: Become Human, players will be able to play as Androids Conner, Kara and Markus and experience their different lifestyles. You can have a read on our review of the game here.
These three games will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store for 12 months and after that, Quantic Dream will have the option to bring it to other stores such as Steam.
