Publisher Yostar has announced they will release an English version of the story-driven RPG Heaven Burns Red. The game will make its debut to the international gaming community for the first time. Key and Wright Flyer Studios developed the free-to-play RPG, which initially launched for iOS and Android on February 10, 2022 in Japan, followed by a PC release via Steam.

This title is Jun Maeda’s first completely new game in 15 years. Jun Maeda, a Japanese writer and composer, is considered a pioneer in visual novels. And his notable works include AIR, CLANNAD, Little Busters!, and Angel Beats!. Additionally, players will witness fierce battles through Ruka Kayamori’s eyes and will explore the deeply immersive world of Heaven Burns Red.
The game’s story:
Besieged by mysterious life-forms known as “the Phage,” Earth teeters on the brink of ruin. Likewise, all human weaponry proved futile against the Phage’s onslaught, and without any means to fight back, humanity has been forced to retreat. In fact, land was forsaken, and nations were erased in the ensuing chaos. Now, over half of the Earth’s surface has been lost to the Phage.
Furthermore, Yostar announced the English version of Heaven Burns Red at Anime Expo 2024.
