This underwater hopeful paradise is available for all Hearthstone players in the new Voyage to the Sunken City expansion. 135 new collectible cards, the new Dredge and Colossal keywords, the addition of the Naga minion-type, and more await you.
New Keyword: Dredge
Dredge is a new keyword that lets you look at the bottom three cards of your deck and pick one to bubble up to the top of your deck. You can combine these Dredge cards with new Azsharan cards that send a powerful “Sunken” card to the bottom of your deck.
New Keyword: Colossal
These giant creatures are too big to fit on one card! Minions with the Colossal keyword come with extra appendages that synergize with their main body in powerful ways. These appendages are summoned with the main body, even if the Colossal minion wasn’t played from hand.
New Minion Type: Naga
As a permanent addition to Hearthstone, the Naga are a spell-focused minion type that tend to give bonuses for playing spells while the Naga are in your hand.
Year of the Hydra Set Rotation
The Year of the Hydra kicks off today with set rotation, which sends the Year of the Phoenix expansions—Ashes of Outland, Scholomance Academy, and Madness at the Darkmoon Faire—to Wild. The Standard card pool now comprises Forged in the Barrens, United in Stormwind, Fractured in Alterac Valley, Voyage to the Sunken City, and the Core set.
Core Set Updates
Updates for the Core set are live as well in a shake-up that rotates out 57 cards and brings in 72, for a new total of 250 total cards in Core—15 more than last year. These new additions are made up of returning cards such as fan favorites Reno Jackson and Wild Pyromancer, some of which have been adjusted for the modern game.
