Hearthstone Esports will be kicking off the first Battlegrounds event of the year in Lobby Legends: Raid Leaders! Fans will be able to watch 16 Battlegrounds players from around the world compete for a $50,000 USD prize pool on 2 and 3 April 2022, through Youtube or Twitch.
Qualifying for Lobby Legends: Raid Leaders will require players to reach the top of their respective Hearthstone Battlegrounds regional ladders by end of February. 16 of the top Ladder competitors from Americas, Asia-Pacific, and Europe will then earn invites a 48-player qualifying tournament to be held offline on 14 March.
The top 12 at the end of the Qualifier will advance to the broadcast tournament, with 4 of the top China Battlegrounds players joining them there. Besides the official tournament broadcast in April, all competing players in the Qualifier and Lobby Legends: Raid Leaders will be invited to co-stream on their channels. The following Lobby Legends is tentatively scheduled for May, with a qualifying period in March. Dates and official name will be shared in time.
