Hawkeye appears in Marvel’s Avengers as the game gets next-gen console upgrades

Clint Barton aka Hawkeye, the superpower-less bow-shooting superhero is joining Marvel’s Avengers as the latest DLC character.

He will make his debut in the game as part of its second post-launch Operation, Marvel’s Avengers Operation: Hawkeye – Future Imperfect. This free DLC not only adds the expert archer, but also a new villain. Players can face off against Maestro, an evil version of Hulk that retains Bruce Banner’s intelligence, on top of Hulk’s incredible bulk. Operation: Hawkeye – Future Imperfect takes place after the events of Kate Bishop’s story.

Besides Bishop’s mentor and Maestro, the game is also getting Reassemble Campaign Replay. Players can now reset their Reassemble campaign progress and experience the mode again while keeping their Hero progression. Furthermore, players will also get a new customisable HARM room, giving players much greater freedom in choosing their enemies, environmental hazards and combat bonuses.

Besides that, the game is finally playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X and S. PS4 and Xbox One owners can upgrade to the next-gen version for free.
