Natsume CEO Hiro Maekawa revealed that the next entry in the company’s hit farming game franchise, Harvest Moon: One World will release for the Xbox One.
In a post on Natsume’s community website, Maekawa wished all fans a happy new year and expressed empathy towards those who are suffering due to the ongoing pandemic, before sharing information about One World.
Previously, only PS4 and Switch versions were announced for the game. In the US, its release date is set to be on 2nd March 2021. In Europe, a Switch version has been confirmed, slated to come out on 5th March 2021.
However, the new announcement states that One World will also get an Xbox One release. According to Maekawa, the Xbox One release will be for the US. Natsume will reveal the console’s release date in the near future. Currently, there is no mention of an Xbox One release in other regions.
Besides the Xbox One release, the CEO also informed that Harvest Moon: One World is “the biggest Harvest Moon game in its history having wide areas and exciting villages to explore while experiencing a farming life”.
The fifth title developed entirely by Natsume, Harvest Moon: One World is a farming simulation game that remains true to its series’ roots while being bigger than ever. It is published by Natsume and Rising Star Games. Previously, both companies also published Harvest Moon: Light of Hope, the best-selling Harvest Moon title in the series.
