Harry Potter: Wizards Unite has entered its beta testing phase in New Zealand, that is, and it’ll surely be a while before we finally see the official release of the long-awaited AR mobile game.
If you are a New Zealander and a Harry Potter fan, good for you because you have been invited to participate in the beta test. Beta players will get the chance to try out the game early on both Android and iOS devices, despite the unavailability of an iOS pre-registration.
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is currently being worked on by both Niantic and WB Games. Based on the Harry Potter series and Fantastic Beasts movies, players will start off as a new recruit of the Statute of Secrecy Task Force to investigate and contain The Calamity. Similar to Pokemon GO, the game requires you to go around real-world locations to search for Foundables.
