An enormous hologram of Master Chief from Halo was spotted standing tall and looking over multiple cities from across the world.
Standing at 60 feet tall, it was visible in Toronto, Mexico City, Sao Paulo and Sydney Harbour for one day only on April 17. Extensive work and preparation were needed to conduct the display, with the installations at each location weighing over 24 tonnes.
The kaiju-sized Master Chief hologram was projected as a publicity stunt for the Halo TV series which is streaming exclusively on Paramount+. Halo is also the most-watched TV series premiere on Paramount+ of all time.
According to Marco Nobili, Paramount senior vice president of streaming marketing, data and analytics:
“HALO has delivered a tremendous response among fans around the world as Paramount+’s most-watched series premiere of all-time globally. We are proud to continue the momentum around the series by bringing HALO to life for fans in Australia, Latin America and Canada, in an epic and innovative way that only Paramount+ could achieve. This is a celebration to the fans and to this iconic franchise that continues to entertain people around the globe.”
