Halo Infinite PC Specs Say The Game Will Need 16GB Of RAM

The Halo Infinite Steam Page has finally updated with the game’s PC specs, letting gamers know in advance if they’ll be able to run the first Halo game to debut on PC.

The game will release on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on December 8th, though it will be launching without a co-op campaign or Forge mode.

Minimum Specs

One thing of note is that Halo Infinite’s minimum requirements are quite generous, only needing a GTX 1050 or AMD RX 570. That being said, it will probably run closer to the Xbox One version of the game, dropping 60fps for 30fps instead.

Recommended Specs

On the recommended end of the spectrum, Halo Infinite is pretty steep with its demands. at 16GB RAM and an RTX 2070 GPU, you’re basically not going to be playing it on the best settings without comitting to a high end gaming laptop or PC.

Considering developers had previously said the game would put performance first, it makes sense that it would ask so much of your RAM, though that does leave some concern for the minimum-end users.

Interestingly enough the storage doesn’t mention recommending an SSD like other games do, though that could be a case of them simply not bringing up loading times for the game
