Halfbrick Studios releases new game after 3 years of silence

Halfbrick Studios will be releasing a new game after 3 years of radio silence. Titled Magic Brick Wars, it’ll be coming to you on iOS and Android, 15 November 2019.

Halfbrick Studios is known for global sensations Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride. Since releasing arcade-action platformer, Dan the Man (2016), the studio seemed to lie low without a global release. The studio will be looking to return Australia to the gaming industry world map by introducing three new games in development!

Two of these upcoming titles came about through an age-old company initiative, Halfbrick Fridays. The internal game-jam gets Bricks from all levels of the company to pitch their ideas to the rest of the studio. Bricks will then select a game idea and form a team to build a playable prototype. In fact, Fruit Ninja came about from such an occasion.

Look forward to Halfbrick Studios’ new game! Magic Brick Wars will be a real-time strategy game, featuring the Raskulls. Attack with powerful characters with unique abilities and weapons. Defend with magical bricks and traps to slow down your opponent! There’ll be plenty of familiar Halfbrick characters along for the ride.

It promises to be fast-paced as you outwit your opponent and navigate treacherous territory. Craft your deck to suit the occasion and storm the enemy lines! Be strategic, lest you fall to your opponent’s traps. The unique personalities and specialties of the original Raskulls will form the starting lineup.
