Good Smile Company has opened preorders for the Haachama Nendoroid, after the overwhelming popularity of the Gawr Gura Nendoroid previously.
This nendoroid shows off the Vtuber officially known as Akai Haato, but lovingly nicknamed Haachama by her fans. It’s available for preorder on the Good Smile Website for 5900 Yen (RM228.68) and will ship out in June, 2022.
It includes a Haaton, the pig mascot that embodies Akai Haato’s fans. However, unlike the other Nendoroids, the Haachama Nendoroid includes one reference that hadn’t been officially recognized by Cover until now- that is a reference to Haachama Cooking, the Vtuber’s surreal cooking streams where she famously eats animals like tarantulas and crocodiles.
The Nendoroid celebrates this with a frying pan, which contains a spider. It’s not known if the spider is removable or not, but it’s a fun nod to one of the most unique Vtubers still active.
The Haachama nendoroid was announced previously as part of the celebrations for Hololive’s 1st Generation anniversary, alongside another Nendoroid for Shirakami Fubuki.
The previous Hololive Nendoroid, Gawr Gura, was so popular that Good Smile had to announce that they would be ramping up production to meet the overwhelming demand, which almost crashed the Good Smile website when it was first launched.
