A while back, we reported on Gwent: The Witcher Card Game making its way to mobile. Well, the game will be released on iOS 29 October 2019, and it’s getting a beta test before launch. Players do have to take note of the FAQ should they decide to sign up, namely:
Which iOS device should I have in order to play GWENT?
Supported devices include iPhone 6S or newer, iPad Mini 4 and newer, iPad 5th generation and newer, iPad Air 2 and newer and all iPad Pro devices.
Can I stream and/or post screenshots of iOS Closed Beta gameplay?
No, you can’t stream, post screenshots or share any information about Closed Beta with the public.
How many participants will be selected for the closed beta?
The total number of participants is limited. Signups will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Interested parties can sign up with their GOG-associated email here. Gwent has been available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One for a while now before making the move to mobile. We don’t have any information about the game’s Android release, as of now. If nothing else, you can play the game on consoles first, and enjoy the visuals and strategizing there.
