Famitsu has shown off the Gundam Hathaway Blu Ray, due out November 26th, 2021 which contains extra goodies on top of the standard release of the newest Gundam movie.
The Blu Ray will have both a standard and Special edition release, with the Standard Edition including bonus commentary from the anime’s Japanese cast.
The Standard edition Gundam Hathaway Blu Ray will cost 5000 Yen (RM190) while the Special Edition will cost 9900 Yen (RM377).
The standard edition will also include subtitle options for English, French, Korean, Thai, and Simplified and Mandarin Chinese. On top of that, it will include a special art sleeve, featuring Hathaway Noa and the Xi Gundam by Pablo Uchida.
Meanwhile, the Special Edition is for the much more discerning Gundam fan, and will include the movie’s soundtrack, composed by Hiroyuki Sawano who also did the score for Gundam Unicorn and Attack on Titan.
It will also include another bonus disc, featuring footage from the Gundam Fan Gathering, Gunpla Expo as well as a live performance of the Gundam Unicorn Suite by Hiroyuki Sawano and Project eMU.
Gundam Hathaway is the latest Gundam movie, following up the adventures of Hathaway Noa, who was last seen during the events of Char’s Counterattack. The movie’s currently available to stream on Netflix.
