Gundam Evolution finally has a release date, with console and PC players getting separate release dates for the upcoming team shooter after previous closed Betas.
In a new trailer today, they revealed that Gundam Evolution would release on PC September 22nd, while console players would get it on December 1st, 2022.
True to form, the trailer also showcased three new mobile suits, rounding off the first season of content for the game.
The three mobile suits are the Zaku II Melee Type, the Mahiroo as well as the Unicorn Gundam.
From the trailer, it looks like the Melee Zaku will be a close range brawler with big sweeping strikes thanks to its Heat Hawk, meanwhile the Mahiroo sports flight capabilities and powerful grenades.
The Unicorn Gundam is actually based on its Full Armor mode from the anime, wherein it sports a Beam Gatling gun as its primary firearm with skills built around using its Shield Funnels, only activating its Beam Magnum as the unit’s G-Manouver to take out enemies from a long range.
They’ve also shown off new cosmetics for the already announced mobile suits, featuring gold colors as well as black bodies with neon lines running along them as well as more playful skins like hot rod flames.
