Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced their upcoming team-based FPS Gundam Evolution will be getting a simultaneous English release, though not all regions will get access to it at the same time.
According to 4Gamer, Gundam Evolution will launch in North America the same time as in Japan, though Europe and the rest of Asia will get it at a later date.
In a new trailer, they also announced that North America and Japan would also get a network test on PC, PS4 and PS5.
This network test for Gundam Evolution will run from April 8th to April 12th, and they’re currently recruiting players for the network test on PC on Steam for the English version.
In addition, the trailer also showed new mobile suits joining the fray- the trailer shows off the Gundam Exia from Gundam 00, looking like the second melee-dedicated mobile suit coming to the game alongside the Gundam Barbatos from Iron Blooded Orphans.
They also showed the three gametypes for the game- all built around the capture point system.
Point Capture seems like the default mode, where teams fight to control different territories on the map. Domination seems more like a king of the hill situation, with a single point for players to fight over. Finally, Destruction seems more like the typical deathmatch, though they haven’t fully explained them mechanics of the types.
The game’s expected to release some time in 2022, though no concrete release date has been given yet.
