Fans are getting a long-requested wish as Gundam Battle Operation 2 is now coming to PC via Steam And Getting A Public Beta
Bandai Namco Entertainment says that you’ll be able to play Gundam Battle Operation 2 on PC with your friends during the first public beta from the 15th of April to 17th, along with a second one the following weekend.
The first beta won’t be all-day tests though- instead there will be two 3-hour timeslots each day, running from 8am to 11am SGT and 1pm to 4pm SGT.
The second one, running from April 22nd to 24th, will run from 9am on the 22nd until 4pm on the 24th.
To sign up for the beta, you simply need to go to the game’s Steam page and opt-in, and you should be able to download and install the game when it’s ready.
No full release date for Gundam Battle Operation 2 has been given, though it’s hard to believe it won’t be soon- promoting the game was one of the points of the Esports Colony outlined at the Gundam Conference this year, alongside the upcoming Gundam Evolution.
Gundam Battle Operation 2 is a squad-based team shooter with gacha mechanics, where you’ll be able to pilot mobile suits from across the Universal Century in battles against each other.
The game has been free-to-play on PS4 and PS5 for years now, with strong fan request for the game to come to PC.
