Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator and Rev 2 are getting rollback netcode, with a PC Beta announced to test out the feature in October.
Announced at CEOtaku today, the update will see the Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 series given the much-requested rollback netcode, following Guilty Gear XX Accent Core +R getting it previously.
In a short trailer, they said that the game would be running a limited time beta of the update in late October, but no specific dates were given.
It should be noted that the update would only be coming to the PC version of the game, however, with no plans to introduce rollback netcode to the PS4 release.
This looks to be an extension of the cooperation between Arc System Works and the developers of the rollback updates for +R and Blazblue, as both spoke out about their involvement with the project.
It's finally revealed at #CEOtaku !!
Been working super hard together with @TomSolacroup to retrofit rollback netcode into Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2, it has been a lot of work doing our absolute best to bring you the best online experience!
Will see you in the open beta!

Arc System Works has been one of the most aggressive Japanese developers in terms of embracing Rollback Netcode- doing so is largely seen as one of the big reasons for Guilty Gear Strive’s success, and the past year has been spent improving their back catalogue.
At EVO this year they’d even won over one of the so-called impossible titles- getting publisher approval to add the netcode to Dragon Ball FighterZ.
Currently, the only major title on their roster not sporting the netcode is Granblue Fantasy Versus.
