Besides the typical versus, training and story modes, a variety of quality of life improvements made their way to the game, especially for online matchmaking. Guilty Gear -Strive- will support crossplay between PS4 and PS5.
In addition, the overhauled online lobby will allow players to create their own 2D pixel art avatar. The online lobby gives the option for players to wait for a match while in training mode.
Furthermore, matchmaking is even more convenient thanks to the quick start function. Quick start gives the option for players to immediately queue for online matches from the main menu.
Besides the single player content and improved online matchmaking system, the game also has a mode called GG World. GG World is an encyclopedia for the series, containing everything from its timeline, a glossary and even character relationship charts.
Guilty Gear -Strive- will release on 9th April 2021 for PS4, PS5 and PC.
