Arc System Works has announced that you can finally stream the Guilty Gear Strive OST on Apple Music And Spotify, as well as other streaming platforms
While it contains the launch version of the soundtrack and includes songs like Crawl from the arcade mode and The Name of Heaven from the game’s story mode, it does not include the songs added later such as Kiss of Death (Goldlewis’ Theme) or Perfection Can’t Please Me (Jack-O’s theme).
That being said, we can probably expect them to come later, since the album is named Guilty Gear Strive Original Soundtrack vol.1.
Arc System Works has said the Guilty Gear Strive OST release will be a gradual rollout, so if it’s not available in your region yet you can check back at a later time.
“A Rock Album That Comes With a Free Fighting Game”
Fans of Daisuke Ishiwatari’s music almost outnumber fans of the Guilty Gear games themselves, with many fans excited once Arc System Works had published most of their game music on streaming platforms earlier this year.
The passion for the game’s music was so hot that Arc System Works had even published The Smell of the Game, the game’s title track, to promote the game before most of the roster had even been announced.
It was so well-received, in fact, that fans could be seen singing along to the trailers at Arc System Works’ live trailer reveals.
Since Strive was previously left out of this, the appetite to listen to the game’s music has been there- with many fan rips of the music numbering over 500,000 plays.
