A new Guilty Gear Strive Beta has been announced, though only for the arcade release of the game in Japan.
In a tweet today the official Guilty Gear Twitter announced that the Guilty Gear Strive Arcade Beta will run from 23rd to 25th April at the following locations:
- Club SEGA Shinjuku West Exit
- Sega Akihabara Building 1
- High-Tech Land Sega Shibuya
- High-Tech Land Sega Nishinakajima
- Sega Namba Avion
- Sega Fukuoka Tenjin
- Sega Akita
This Beta will be running the same build of the game as the Beta in March, which means that characters like Anji Mito and I-No will still be unplayable.
However, you’ll be able to connect to players at any of the other locations via the network battle, letting you compete in Best-of-Three matches.
In order to give everyone a chance to play, Arc System Works also says they’ll be imposing a 10-win limit, where players who have won more than 10 consecutive matches will be asked to give up their spot for another player to try out.
Guilty Gear Strive is arguably the most hotly anticipated fighting game release this year, after several delays pushed the game back to June. While overseas fans will get to enjoy the game on consoles and PC, Japan will also be getting an arcade release of the title.
